Sandur Polytechnic organized an Induction program for the first year students on Tuesday the 15 July, 2014.

Warm tributes were offered to the founder patron late Shri. M. Y. Ghorpade. The first year students were enlightened about the growth, success and culture of Sanpoly by quoting the success stories of our alumni and developmental activities of the institute.

On this occasion, first year students expressed their happiness and pride for being the students of this prestigious institution. They assured that, they would imbibe good culture and discipline and pursue the success path of their seniors.

Second and final year students were very proud in sharing their views on how Sanpoly has helped them acquiring good education and improve communication skills through ELCS program. They gave important tips to the first year students on studies and emphasised the need to prepare for CET from the first year itself to get into reputed engineering colleges.

The Principal, Mr. T. M. Aleem Ahmed, spoke on the occasion and stressed on importance of respecting parents and teachers who help them shape their life. Dedicated and focussed hard work was stressed upon to ensure success. A PPT was shown highlighting the achievements of the polytechnic and his address ended with a motivational PPT to boost the confidence of the fresher’s.

The enthusiastic involvement of the students in this program helped the newcomers understand clearly the Mission and Vision of Sandur Polytechnic. The program concluded with vote of thanks.
