The department of civil engineering is the new course started in 2010 with the objective of imparting training in the cutting edge technologies in civil engineering and to meet the growing demands of the infrastructure development and Real Estate industries.

Civil engineering is the broadest and oldest of professional engineering fields that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works like bridges, roads, railroad lines, airports, water-supply systems, dams, irrigation, harbours, docks, aqueducts, tunnels, and other engineered constructions.

The department has a team of young, dynamic and dedicated staff. Well equipped labs are being setup to enable students gain thorough knowledge of all types of surveying, construction materials, mechanics of structures and soils, fluid mechanics etc.
